01Project Overview
Jacqueline’s Bridal is a premier boutique in Wellesley, Massachusetts — offering over 4,000 styles across a stunning 7,000 sq ft showroom, with 30+ years of expertise in bridal, evening, and couture. Despite their exceptional in-store reputation
and glowing Google reviews, their website was failing to convert online visitors into appointment bookings. Ariobe was brought in to diagnose the problem and deliver a complete digital transformation — from site architecture through to
conversion optimisation.

02The Problem
Overwhelming 3-level navigationwith 30+ sub-menu items across Bride, Occasions, Collections, Services and more, first-time visitors faced decision paralysis before seeing a single dress.

Heavy page load from unoptimised imageshigh-resolution bridal imagery was served without compression or modern formats, resulting in SVG placeholder flashes and slow perceived load times.

No brand storytelling above the foldthe hero section failed to communicate the boutique’s 30-year legacy, 7,000 sq ft showroom, or VIP consultation experience — key trust triggers for luxury buyers.

Weak appointment booking CTAthe primary conversion goal (booking a private consultation) was buried under generic copy and inconsistent call-to-action placement across pages.

No pricing signals or product categorisationbrides browsing online couldn’t gauge price range or filter by key criteria, increasing drop-off before they reached the appointment stage.

Duplicate content blocks on homepagethe same service sections (Alteration, Lingerie, Preservation) were rendered twice in the page source, diluting SEO signals and slowing page rendering.

🏠 Homepage Issues

Hero copy doesn’t lead with the brand’s strongest assets (30 years, 7,000 sq ft, 4,000 gowns)

Duplicate service blocks rendered twice in source — hurting SEO and speed

No social proof above the fold — Google reviews buried at page bottom

🗺 Navigation Issues

3-level deep menus with 30+ items create decision fatigue and mobile failure

No mega-menu structure — all links treated equally regardless of importance

Appointment CTA competes with 7 other nav items for attention

📦 Product Pages

No price range indicators — luxury buyers need anchoring cues

No customer reviews or real bride photos on dress detail pages

Appointment CTA is generic — no urgency, no scarcity, no personalisation

⚙️ Technical

Page speed score: 44/100 — high-res WEBP images served without responsive srcset

Facebook Pixel loaded synchronously — blocking render

No lazy loading strategy — all images attempted on initial load

07Client Feedback
“Our boutique has been dressing brides for over 30 years, but our website never did us justice. Ariobe changed that. Within weeks our appointment calendar was full and brides were arriving already knowing exactly who we are and what to
expect. The redesign truly captures the Jacqueline’s experience.”

08Key Takeaways
01

Your heritage is your conversion hook30 years and 4,000 gowns are stronger selling points than any discount. Leading with credentials converted lukewarm visitors into booked appointments.

Navigation complexity kills luxury brandssimplifying from 30+ items to a clean mega-menu reduced bounce rate by 41% and increased pages-per-session significantly.
